We are seeking a passionate and skilled Egyptian Chef to lead the culinary team in delivering authentic Egyptian cuisine that delights our guests. Duties
- Lead and supervise the kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment focused on excellence in Egyptian cuisine.
- Plan menus that highlight authentic flavors while accommodating dietary restrictions and customer preferences.
- Oversee food preparation processes to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met or exceeded.
- Manage inventory control and food safety protocols to minimize waste and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality dishes for large groups or special occasions.
- Supervise shift operations, including food service management, kitchen workflow, and staff scheduling to optimize productivity.
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment adhering to all safety standards and hygiene practices.
Experience
- Proven culinary experience with a focus on Egyptian cuisine or Middle Eastern flavors, ideally within fine dining or upscale restaurant settings.
- Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience in a fast-paced food industry environment.
- Extensive background in food production, catering, banquet service, and restaurant management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, food handling procedures, and food safety regulations.
- Experience with menu planning, food service management, and kitchen operations including shift management.
- Familiarity with dietary department standards and accommodating special dietary needs within menu offerings.
- Background in hospitality settings with excellent leadership skills to motivate staff and enhance guest satisfaction through exceptional food service delivery.
