Line Cook

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with experience in fine dining and menu planning. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Assist in menu planning and develop new dish ideas in collaboration with the culinary team
• Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
• Handle food with care, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Support food service operations during busy periods, including plating and garnishing dishes
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Contribute to inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery

Experience

• Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus
• Experience in fine dining environments or high-volume restaurants preferred
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Skilled in using knives and other kitchen tools with precision
• Experience in catering or serving is advantageous
• Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced kitchen settings
• Culinary experience including menu planning, food industry knowledge, and kitchen operations is desirable
