Sr. Platform Engineer

About the Opportunity:

The organization is seeking a Sr. Platform Engineer to help build, maintain, and optimize infrastructure for scale during a rapid growth phase. The program aims to simplify car ownership through an AI-powered super app covering services like insurance, registration, loans, repairs, and more within a $2T U.S. market. The team has achieved strong product-market fit, significant funding, and rapid growth, serving over 5 million customers across six countries.

Responsibilities:

• Develop systems and components to improve operational simplicity and reliability, such as monitoring, deployment automation, and diagnostics tools

• Manage cloud infrastructure accounts end to end, ensuring robustness and security

• Develop systems and tools for security access and capacity planning of cloud resources

• Guide product teams on systems architecture, reliability, and production system optimization

• Coordinate production incident handling across teams

Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Computer Science or related discipline

• 5+ years of experience with Amazon AWS services and tools (ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, ElasticCache, ELB, ECR, CDK, etc.)

• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure systems reliability

• Proficiency in coding, preferably Python or Golang, with familiarity in NodeJS and Typescript

• Strong system analysis and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical writing abilities

• Highly motivated and able to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments with a focus on scalable, highly available cloud systems

Compensation:

• The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed on this job posting, determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future. In addition to base salary, the compensation may include opportunities for equity grants.
