JOB SUMMARY

• The Blanks Operator plays a critical role in producing high-quality blanks that serve as the foundation for aerospace components. This position is responsible for operating cutting machinery, maintaining consistent quality, following safety protocols, and contributing to production goals.

Essential Functions

• Operate advanced cutting machinery to produce blanks from raw materials
• Ensure precision and accuracy in cuts to meet required specifications
• Follow all industry and company safety standards to maintain a safe work environment
• Inspect blanks and materials to ensure they meet stringent quality expectations
• Collaborate with production team members to achieve daily and weekly output goals
• Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and organized
• Proper handling, cleaning, and inspection of materials
• Completion of all applicable paperwork and documentation
• Able to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Working with various hand tools and chemicals
• Reaching, bending, climbing
• Visually inspecting materials and products

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to accuracy and precision
• Knowledge of industry safety standards
• Previous forklift certification/experience a plus
• Open availability, including weekends
• Must agree to pre-employment screenings
• Ability to interpret basic work instructions and measurements
• Understanding of basic mathematics and use of standard measuring tools
• Ability to work well with others and take direction
• Self-motivated and able to take initiative
• Must be able to work nights and weekends per company needs

Salary Information:

• Hourly, non-exempt
• Starting rate is $18.00
