NCCCO Articulated Boom Operator

Overview
We are seeking a skilled NCCCO Certified Articulated Boom Operator with a Limited HMO license to join our construction team. This role requires a professional with experience operating Articulated Booms on construction sites, ensuring safety and efficiency in lifting and positioning materials. The ideal candidate will possess CDL A/B Commercial Drivers License

Duties

• Operate articulated boom lifts in accordance with safety standards and project requirements
• Assist in the setup, positioning, and operation of heavy equipment including cranes, dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks
• Coordinate with ground personnel to ensure safe lifting and movement of materials such as concrete mixers, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and farm machinery
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment before use and report any maintenance needs
• Support the transportation of construction materials using commercial driving skills when necessary
• Maintain compliance with all safety protocols and OSHA regulations during operations
• Assist with site preparation and cleanup as needed to uphold a safe working environment

Qualifications

• NCCCO certification as an Articulated Boom Operator with a valid Limited HMO license
• Proven experience working on construction sites with heavy equipment operation
• Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery such as cranes, dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and tankers
• Ability to operate commercial vehicles including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, and roll-off trucks
• Familiarity with concrete mixers and farm machinery is a plus
• Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and construction environments
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record for commercial driving tasks
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and adhere to safety standards at all times

Pay: $ $44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50.0 – 60.0 per week
