Duties

• Welcome clients and their pets with enthusiasm, providing outstanding customer service and answering questions about services and pet health.
• Schedule appointments, manage client records, and assist with check-in/check-out processes efficiently.
• Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques, ensuring their comfort and safety during visits.
• Maintain cleanliness of kennels, treatment areas, and common spaces to promote a hygienic environment.

• Support pet sitting and pet grooming services to enhance the overall client experience.
• Perform heavy lifting when necessary to transport animals or supplies safely around the facility.

Skills

• Strong animal handling skills with experience in dog training, dog handling, or veterinary technician work.
• Knowledge of animal restraint techniques to ensure safety during examinations or treatments.
• Prior veterinary assistant or kennel experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Familiarity with pet grooming, pet sitting, and general animal care practices.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Basic understanding of veterinary procedures or veterinary experience is a plus.
