Seeking a detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Madison, Wisconsin. This position plays a crucial part in our logistics operations by ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently picked and prepared for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve products from warehouse inventory using pick lists or scanners.
- Verify product details against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely for safe transit.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Achieve assigned productivity and accuracy targets.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines diligently.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervision promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety and logistics processes.
- Must wear appropriate PPE as required.
