Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare, label, and document outgoing shipments.
- Verify order contents against shipping manifests and ensure accuracy.
- Schedule and coordinate pickups with various shipping carriers.
- Maintain organized shipping records and generate reports as needed.
- Operate shipping equipment, including scanners and scales.
- Ensure all packages are safely prepared and meet carrier guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding shipment status.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Perform other warehouse duties to support overall logistics operations.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related warehouse position is preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping software and common carriers is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting.
- Understanding of fundamental logistics and shipping processes.
- Effective communication skills.
- Commitment to upholding a Safe workplace.
