We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our Las Vegas, Nevada facility. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. Your primary focus will be on tracking stock levels, investigating discrepancies, and implementing procedures to minimize loss and improve efficiency within our logistics operations. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a strong commitment to safety. You will be responsible for managing inventory data, conducting regular audits, and ensuring that all warehouse personnel follow established protocols for handling and storing goods. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting practices are mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using WMS software.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Implement and improve inventory control procedures to reduce errors and waste.
- Track the movement of goods within the warehouse.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Ensure proper organization and placement of inventory to optimize space and accessibility.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure adherence to inventory policies and safety guidelines.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, accuracy, and movement.
- Maintain a safe and secure inventory storage environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (WMS) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform lifting of inventory items as needed, following safe lifting techniques.
- Understanding of logistics principles and supply chain operations.
- Commitment to safety standards and the use of required PPE.
