Join our growing logistics operation in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as a Forklift Operator. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. We are looking for a certified and experienced individual who can operate various types of forklifts to load, unload, and transport goods. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the ability to maintain accurate inventory records. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure the smooth flow of products from receiving to shipping. The ability to operate forklifts with precision and care is essential to prevent damage to goods and equipment. A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment is also expected. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric) to move pallets and materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating systems.
- Assist with physical Loading and unloading when necessary.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety guidelines and traffic rules.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding material movement and inventory status.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift certification is required.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting, typically up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety.
- Must wear required PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility vests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including occasional weekends.
