Join our growing team as a Warehouse Associate in Des Moines, Iowa! This role is fundamental to our warehouse operations, involving a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and preparing shipments. Understanding and implementing safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE, is crucial for this position. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Stock merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick orders using order sheets or RF scanners.
- Pack items carefully for shipment, ensuring product safety.
- Assist with preparing shipments for delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and checks.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and ensure correct use of assigned PPE.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following procedures.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
