As a Design Engineer you will be working on: Jigs, Fixtures and special purpose machinery for the Aerospace, Automotive, Defence and Nuclear Industries.
3D model designs of tooling/machinery components.
2D detail drawings for manufacture.
Technical documentation creation.
Proficient in any/all of the following CAD packages:
SolidWorks.
CATIA V5.
Competent with Microsoft Office software suite.
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Design Engineer – Desired Skills
Aerospace, Defence or Nuclear industry experience.
Time served Toolmaker/Pattern Maker.
Design Engineer – Desired Experience
UKCA/CE Marking process.
FEA Analysis / Basic calculations.
