Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to join our team in Durham, North Carolina. This dynamic role involves overseeing various warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and staff supervision. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe flow of goods within our logistics network. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse procedures, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to operational excellence. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing daily activities, optimizing space utilization, and ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and on time. You will also be involved in training and mentoring warehouse associates, enforcing Safety protocols, and resolving operational challenges. Collaboration with other departments, such as purchasing and customer service, is crucial for success. You will monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies for continuous improvement. A thorough understanding of inventory control systems and logistics best practices is essential. Compliance with all Safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is non-negotiable. While the role is primarily supervisory, some Lifting may occasionally be required. You will be expected to uphold high standards in all aspects of your work.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and company policies.
  • Train and mentor warehouse staff.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports.
  • Implement and enforce operational procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate with carriers and manage logistics partners.
