Our San Jose, California operations are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock takes, and ensuring the overall integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your work directly impacts the efficiency of our Logistics operations, order fulfillment, and our ability to meet customer demands. Responsibilities:
- Accurately record inventory levels, receipts, and disbursements.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
- Maintain organized storage of inventory, ensuring items are easily accessible and properly labeled.
- Assist in receiving and put-away processes, verifying incoming goods against documentation.
- Identify and report damaged or obsolete inventory.
- Operate inventory management software and scanners efficiently.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate inventory data.
- Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Wear required PPE , such as safety glasses and gloves.
- Assist with Lifting and moving of inventory as needed (up to 30 lbs).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory management role.
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse Logistics .
- Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to protocols.
- Must be able to wear required PPE .
