Join our growing logistics team in Austin, Texas, as a skilled Reach Truck Operator! We are seeking experienced individuals to manage the efficient movement and storage of inventory within our state-of-the-art warehouse. This role demands precision, speed, and a strong commitment to Safety. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be essential in optimizing our storage space and ensuring seamless operations from receiving to shipping.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise efficiently and safely.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring proper handling of all products.
- Accurately pick and stage orders for shipment.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on the reach truck and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all Safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all company Safety regulations and OSHA guidelines, including the use of required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed, contributing to overall logistics efficiency.
- Identify and address potential Safety hazards in the work environment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures for warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating a reach truck and other powered industrial equipment.
- Valid certification for reach truck operation is required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks when not operating the reach truck, including moderate Lifting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent spatial awareness and precision in maneuvering.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
