We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team in Omaha, Nebraska. In this crucial role, you will be the first point of contact for all incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our receiving process. Your responsibilities will include unloading deliveries, meticulously checking items against purchase orders, inspecting for any damages, and accurately recording all received inventory into our system. This position requires a solid understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy. You will play an integral part in our supply chain, ensuring that our inventory levels are up-to-date and accurate. The role demands physical capability, including the ability to handle moderate Lifting and operate warehouse equipment safely. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized receiving area is a key aspect of this job. We prioritize the well-being of our employees, mandating strict adherence to safety protocols and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be invaluable as we manage our logistics operations.
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Verify contents of shipments against invoices and purchase orders.
- Inspect all received goods for damage or defects.
- Document all received items accurately in the inventory system.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or short shipments to management.
- Stage received goods for put-away or distribution.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving dock area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory reconciliation and cycle counts as directed.
