This position requires physical stamina, as you will be involved in the Lifting of goods and the operation of warehouse equipment. Maintaining a safe and organized receiving area is crucial. We emphasize a proactive approach to safety, ensuring all team members are trained on proper procedures and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). - Unload incoming shipments from trucks in a timely and safe manner.
- Verify quantity and quality of received goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect items for damage and report any issues or discrepancies.
- Accurately enter receiving data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Organize and stage received goods for put-away or further processing.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly receiving area.
- Coordinate with vendors and carriers regarding delivery schedules and discrepancies.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Follow all company safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed.
