Join our dynamic team as an Order Picker in Kansas City, Missouri! We are seeking motivated individuals to contribute to our efficient warehouse operations. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment, a critical function in our daily logistics. Your attention to detail and speed will ensure that our customers receive the right products promptly. This role is integral to our success and requires a commitment to Safety and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order requests.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items appropriately for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other picking equipment safely.
- Stage completed orders in designated shipping areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, free from hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
- Meet productivity targets for order picking and packing.
Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse capacity is required. Must be able to perform regular Lifting of items up to 50 pounds and work efficiently in a standing position for extended periods. A strong understanding of warehouse Safety practices is crucial. Excellent accuracy, speed, and organizational skills are essential for success in this logistics-focused role. Familiarity with RF scanners is a plus.
