You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Key duties include loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory from receiving to storage areas, and transporting goods to the shipping department. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is essential, as is performing daily pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and **Safety**. This role requires a valid forklift certification or the willingness to obtain one. Experience with different types of racking and inventory placement is beneficial. You will be expected to adhere to all **Safety** regulations, including the proper use of **PPE** such as hard hats, safety vests, and steel-toed boots. This position involves frequent **Lifting** of items up to 50 lbs and requires standing, walking, and operating machinery for extended periods. Understanding warehouse **Logistics** and workflow is important to optimize your movements and contribute to overall productivity.
