We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our logistics team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role is integral to our supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials within our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, transport goods between departments, and manage inventory placement. A strong emphasis is placed on adhering to all Safety regulations and company policies to maintain a secure working environment. Your attention to detail and proficiency in operating various types of forklifts will be crucial. We require all personnel to consistently wear appropriate PPE , including safety footwear, vests, and potentially other protective gear as needed. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of heavy items and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. A valid forklift certification and a minimum of (X) years of experience are required. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment and report issues.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
- Accurately record inventory movements and locations.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently.

- Assist with cycle counts and inventory management tasks.
