We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our expanding operations in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is integral to our logistics network, ensuring the efficient handling and management of inventory. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Your contribution will directly impact our ability to meet customer demands and maintain high standards of service. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Conduct regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven experience as a warehouse worker or in a similar role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform strenuous tasks, including significant Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of Safety.
- Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.
