Join our team in Kansas City, Missouri as an Order Picker! We are seeking motivated individuals to play a key role in our warehouse operations. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately and efficiently pick products from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. This position is vital for the smooth functioning of our logistics department, ensuring that orders are processed accurately and promptly. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all warehouse guidelines.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Meet daily picking quotas and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Understand and follow all logistics operational procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
- Report any stock discrepancies or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety and logistics principles.
- Willingness to comply with all PPE requirements and safety regulations.
