We are seeking a reliable Picker/Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team in Madison, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items for customer orders and carefully packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail, speed, and commitment to quality are vital to our logistics process. You will work with various tools and systems to ensure that orders are picked correctly and packed securely, meeting our high standards for customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse inventory.
- Verify product details and quantities against order requirements.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Follow all established safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damages found during picking/packing.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse duties is a plus.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 35 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet productivity goals.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Willingness to comply with all PPE requirements.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
