Join our dynamic logistics team as a Forklift Operator at our Raleigh, North Carolina facility. We are seeking experienced and certified individuals to manage the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. Your primary duties will include operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, transport inventory, and assist with order fulfillment. Safety is our top priority, and adherence to all company policies, including mandatory PPE usage and safe operating practices, is required. This role requires physical capability, including regular lifting. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move goods.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated warehouse areas.
- Assist with picking, staging, and preparing orders for shipment.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, including proper PPE usage and safe lifting techniques.
- Support the logistics department with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator license or certification.
- Previous professional experience as a forklift operator.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Knowledge of inventory control and logistics operations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
