We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk for our St. Louis, Missouri warehouse. In this role, you will be crucial to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data, which is fundamental to our logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, updating inventory records, and assisting with stock organization. We are committed to a safe and efficient workplace, requiring adherence to all safety regulations, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques. This position involves walking, standing, and occasional lifting. Your meticulous approach will ensure our inventory systems are reliable, supporting seamless logistics and customer satisfaction. We value accuracy and a proactive approach to inventory management.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts of warehouse inventory.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Update inventory records accurately and promptly.
- Assist with the organization and placement of stock within the warehouse.
- Conduct physical inventory audits as required.
- Support the receiving and shipping departments with inventory-related tasks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage and safe lifting.
- Contribute to overall logistics efficiency through accurate inventory management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards and PPE.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or systems.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
