As a Supervisor, you will lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, ensuring efficient and safe execution of all daily tasks. Your responsibilities will include managing workflow, enforcing safety protocols, optimizing inventory management, and driving productivity. Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, accuracy, and organization.
- Implement and improve operational procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Schedule and assign tasks to team members, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards promptly.
- Communicate effectively with management and other departments regarding operational status and needs.
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or lead role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics best practices.
- Ability to perform occasional lifting up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technology.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and ensuring team compliance with PPE requirements.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Must be able to work flexible hours as needed to meet operational demands.
