Join our dynamic team as a Fulfillment Associate in Chicago, Illinois! This role is crucial for the efficient processing of customer orders within our state-of-the-art fulfillment center. You will be involved in various aspects of order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. Your accuracy and speed are vital to our logistics operations and overall customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners and other equipment.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent attention to detail during picking and packing processes.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (certification provided if needed).
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and other warehouse operations as needed.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards for order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or logistics environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE at all times in designated areas.
Requirements:
This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting, bending, and standing. A strong commitment to safety is paramount, and all employees must adhere to established safety protocols and wear required PPE. Efficiency in picking and packing is key to our logistics success. We are looking for reliable individuals with a strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail. Experience with lifting and handling various types of merchandise is essential.
