Join our energetic team as an Order Picker in Kansas City, Missouri! You will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is vital to our logistics chain, ensuring products are picked correctly and efficiently, leading to satisfied customers. Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve products from warehouse storage locations based on pick lists or electronic devices.
- Verify product identification and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Prepare picked items for shipment by staging them in designated areas.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Report any damages or discrepancies in inventory to supervision.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment, especially as an order picker, is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 45 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse logistics is helpful.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
Requirements:
This role involves continuous movement, bending, and lifting. A strong focus on safety is essential. You will be required to wear specific PPE during your shift. Efficiency and accuracy in picking are critical for our logistics operations. We value individuals who are reliable, motivated, and safety-conscious.
