We are looking for a meticulous Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Seattle, Washington. This position is critical for managing the flow of goods into our facility, ensuring all incoming inventory is accurately accounted for and processed efficiently. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for unloading delivery vehicles, verifying shipment contents against purchase orders, inspecting for damages, and meticulously documenting all received items. Your accuracy and attention to detail are vital for maintaining inventory integrity and supporting our overall Logistics operations. - Receiving and documenting all incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Verifying the accuracy of delivered goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Conducting thorough inspections of incoming items for any signs of damage or defects.
- Reporting any discrepancies, damages, or short shipments to the appropriate personnel.
- Operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe manner (certification may be provided).
- Entering receiving data into our warehouse management system (WMS).
- Organizing and staging received inventory for timely put-away.
- Strictly adhering to all company Safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Wearing and maintaining all required PPE , including safety footwear and high-visibility vests.
- Assisting with the Lifting and movement of packages weighing up to 40 lbs.
