Our Fort Worth, Texas distribution center is seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Specialist to maintain the accuracy and integrity of our extensive inventory. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, implementing inventory control procedures, and contributing to process improvements. This role is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring that we have the right products in the right place at the right time. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure stock accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize losses and errors.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify slow-moving or obsolete stock.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure efficient stock rotation and replenishment.
- Assist in training team members on inventory control best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all inventory-related activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with WMS software and inventory tracking tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Physical capability to perform tasks requiring lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Detail-oriented and highly accurate.
