This role is essential for ensuring that all orders are processed accurately, packed securely, and dispatched on time, playing a vital part in our overall **Logistics** chain. Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping documentation, verifying order accuracy, coordinating with carriers, labeling packages correctly, and maintaining shipping logs. You will work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to prioritize tasks effectively. A strong focus on **Safety** is required, including the proper use of **PPE**. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be proficient in basic computer applications, and possess good communication abilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation for all outgoing packages.
- Verify the accuracy of orders against shipping manifests.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for pickup schedules and inquiries.
- Ensure packages are properly sealed, labeled, and staged for shipment.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Communicate with internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Adhere to all **Safety** regulations and utilize appropriate **PPE**.
- Support efficient warehouse **Logistics** by ensuring timely dispatch of goods.
- Perform **Lifting** of packages up to 40 lbs as needed for processing.
- Operate shipping equipment such as scales and printers.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a shipping clerk or similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency with shipping software and basic computer skills (MS Office).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of **Safety** procedures in a shipping environment.
- Familiarity with **PPE** requirements.
- Basic understanding of **Logistics** and shipping processes.
- Ability to perform moderate **Lifting** (up to 40 lbs).
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
