In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory records. Your duties will include conducting regular physical inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies, investigating stock variances, managing stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO), and implementing process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy. You will work closely with warehouse operations teams to ensure efficient stock management and support overall **Logistics** operations. A strong understanding of inventory management systems and principles is essential. Your commitment to **Safety** and adherence to procedures are vital in this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cycle counts and full physical inventories accurately.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain real-time inventory accuracy in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and implement adjustments as needed.
- Manage stock rotation strategies (e.g., FIFO, LIFO) to minimize spoilage and obsolescence.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with operations staff to ensure efficient put-away, picking, and shipping processes.
- Ensure adherence to **Safety** protocols and proper use of **PPE** when conducting counts or moving stock.
- Support **Logistics** planning with accurate inventory data.
- Assist with physical **Lifting** and movement of inventory items during audits, occasionally up to 40 lbs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of **Safety** procedures and experience using **PPE**.
- Understanding of **Logistics** principles.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional **Lifting** up to 40 lbs.
