We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Worker to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our warehouse and the timely fulfillment of customer orders. You will be involved in a variety of essential tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing goods for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload inbound inventory.
- Stock items accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to established guidelines.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stocktaking activities.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve warehouse objectives.
- Properly wear and maintain all required PPE.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be physically capable of performing warehouse duties, including frequent lifting of up to 45 pounds. The ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods is required. A solid understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of using PPE correctly is essential. Prior experience in warehouse operations or a related logistics field is preferred. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are necessary. High school diploma or equivalent is required. We are dedicated to providing a safe and productive working environment for all employees.
