We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, and managing stock levels. You will utilize our inventory management system to track product movement, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date. This position requires a methodical approach, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy. You will work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to implement best practices for inventory control and to identify opportunities for process improvement. Adherence to Safety protocols and the correct use of PPE are essential, as you will be navigating the warehouse environment. While not primarily a manual labor role, some Lifting may be required during physical inventory checks. Understanding of warehouse operations and experience with inventory software are highly valued. Your efforts will directly contribute to the efficiency of our supply chain and the reduction of operational costs. We are looking for a reliable and proactive individual who can take ownership of inventory accuracy.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Monitor stock levels and report on inventory status.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient stock rotation.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and suggest improvements.
