We are hiring a motivated Shipping & Receiving Associate for our facility in San Jose, California. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our logistics operations, managing the inbound and outbound flow of goods. Your duties will include verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, inspecting goods for damage, and accurately documenting all received items. For outbound shipments, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and labeling orders, ensuring they are prepared for timely dispatch. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are paramount. You will work closely with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations. A commitment to Safety is a top priority, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory. This role involves regular Lifting of packages, so physical stamina is required. Experience with shipping software and familiarity with various shipping carriers are advantageous. You will contribute to maintaining accurate inventory records and minimizing errors in both receiving and shipping processes. - Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Verify contents of shipments against orders and inspect for damage.
- Prepare goods for shipment, including picking, packing, and labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments and inventory movements.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Coordinate with logistics partners and carriers.
