Our Richmond, Virginia location is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist. This role demands a proactive approach to managing and optimizing our inventory. You will be responsible for developing and implementing inventory control procedures, analyzing inventory data, and identifying root causes of discrepancies. This position requires a deep understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management best practices. You will lead cycle counting initiatives, perform physical audits, and ensure data integrity within our inventory system. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools are essential. Safety is a top priority; you must be knowledgeable about and adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE. This role may involve occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds. You will work closely with operations management to drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy and efficiency. Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems is highly preferred.
