Job Summary:
Our Los Angeles, California facility is seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory through diligent tracking, cycle counting, and reconciliation processes. You will work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, optimize stock levels, and ensure efficient material flow. A strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are essential for this position.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor stock levels and report on inventory status and potential shortages.
  • Implement and refine inventory control procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to prevent damage and obsolescence.
  • Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to manage inbound and outbound material flow.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE and safe Lifting practices.
  • Train warehouse staff on inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Prepare inventory reports for management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements related to inventory management.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar warehouse/logistics role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and WMS software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus.
