We are hiring an Order Picker for our Milwaukee, Wisconsin facility. This role is fundamental to our e-commerce logistics, focusing on the accurate and timely retrieval of products to fulfill customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will navigate our warehouse, locate specific items using pick lists or scanners, and prepare them for the next stage of the fulfillment process. This position requires physical stamina, precision, and a dedication to maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order details.
- Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities against pick tickets.
- Use RF scanning devices to track picked items and update inventory systems.
- Deliver picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain an organized and efficient work area, ensuring aisles are clear.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock placement as needed.
- Achieve daily picking targets while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and following safety instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
