Responsibilities:
- Select products from warehouse stock based on customer orders.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and product conditions.
- Package goods carefully to prevent damage during shipping, using appropriate materials.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks, and use RF scanning devices to track inventory.
- Maintain the tidiness and orderliness of the packing station and surrounding work areas.
- Strictly follow all company safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
- Assist with receiving and put-away tasks as needed.
- Achieve performance metrics for speed and accuracy in picking and packing.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and support colleagues.
Qualifications:
- GED or High School Diploma required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, order fulfillment, or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to interpret pick lists and product identifiers.
- Capability to perform tasks involving frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Must be able to handle lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment and understanding logistics principles.
- Strong organizational skills and a meticulous approach to work.
