Join our team as a Forklift Operator in vibrant Portland, Oregon. We are seeking skilled and safety-conscious individuals to operate forklifts and manage the movement of goods within our distribution center. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring efficient receiving, put-away, and shipping of products. Key duties include safely operating various types of forklifts to load and unload trucks, move pallets, and transport materials to and from storage locations. You will also be responsible for conducting pre-operation checks on equipment, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to all operational procedures. A strong focus on safety is paramount; all operators must strictly follow company guidelines and wear the required PPE at all times. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of safe forklift operation, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position requires regular lifting of up to 50 pounds and the ability to work flexible shifts. Forklift certification is required.
