We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to join our busy New York City, New York logistics hub. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our warehouse, focusing on the safe and accurate movement of materials and products. You will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, transport, and store items within the facility. Your ability to maintain order, ensure inventory accuracy, and work effectively in a demanding urban environment is key. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation, excellent spatial awareness, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Experience with various types of material handling equipment is essential. - Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and within the warehouse.

- Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance checks on equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, protocols, and use required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
This position requires significant physical exertion, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. A strong focus on safety and the correct use of PPE are mandatory.
