Solutions Engineer

Santcore Technologies, on behalf of our client, is seeking an
Entry-Level Atlassian Solutions Engineer
to join our team. This role focuses on managing and optimizing
Atlassian Cloud solutions
– including
Jira Software, Confluence, Jira Service Management
, and key third-party integrations.

The ideal candidate will bring a
strong technical foundation, passion for process optimization
, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver
standardized yet tailored Atlassian solutions
that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and customize
  Jira Software, Confluence, and Jira Service Management
  .
• Provide
  technical support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis
  for Atlassian environments.
• Gather and translate business requirements by collaborating with stakeholders and end users.
• Design and implement Atlassian Cloud solutions that align with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain
  workflows, automation rules, custom fields, dashboards, and reports
  .
• Deliver
  end-user training
  , create detailed documentation, and drive user adoption.
• Monitor system health, ensure
  security compliance
  , and manage third-party apps.
• Administer and maintain the organization's
  Atlassian Cloud instance
  .

Technical Skills Required

• Atlassian Cloud Tools:
  Hands-on experience with Jira Software, Confluence, and JSM (project setup, boards, custom fields, filters).
• Workflows & Permissions:
  Understanding of workflows, issue types, and transitions.
• Reporting & JQL:
  Ability to build dashboards, use gadgets, and write basic JQL queries.
• Confluence:
  Creating spaces, pages, templates, and structuring content.
• Service Management:
  Familiarity with request types, queues, SLAs.
• Automation & Scripting:
  Exposure to Jira automation rules, with an interest in low-code/no-code scripting tools (e.g., ScriptRunner).
• Collaboration Tools:
  Understanding of Jira Confluence, Jira Bitbucket integrations.
• Technical Foundations:
  Familiarity with REST APIs, SQL queries, JSON.
• General IT Knowledge:
  SDLC, Agile/Scrum, ITSM concepts.
• Cloud Security Mindset:
  Awareness of SaaS, identity management (SSO, permissions).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
  in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• Minimum
  1+ years of experience
  with Atlassian Cloud products in medium-to-large environments (1,000+ users).
• Strong
  analytical and troubleshooting skills
  to resolve business and technical issues.
• Excellent
  communication and collaboration skills
  across teams.
• Experience with
  Atlassian Marketplace apps
  and integrations.
• Familiarity with
  automation tools and REST APIs
  for Atlassian Cloud.

Preferred Qualifications

• Atlassian Certifications:
  ACP-120, ACP-620, or ACP-420.
• Experience with
  Agile/ITSM frameworks
  .
• Knowledge of
  Atlassian Guard
  and cloud security practices.
• Experience with
  CI/CD tools, DevOps practices, Atlassian Analytics, and JSM Assets
  .
• Exposure to
  Azure Cloud
  environment.
