*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our well -established Gastroenterology Clinic. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
- Collaborate with physicians in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
- Provide counseling and education to patients on various health conditions.
- Perform basic life support procedures in emergency situations
- Participate in public health initiatives and community outreach programs
- Collect and analyze patient data to monitor treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments
- Utilize electronic medical record systems, such as Ggastro, to document patient encounters
Requirements:
- Valid Physician Assistant license in [state/region]
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Certification in basic life support (BLS)
- Strong understanding of public health principles and practices
- Willingness to travel to satellite clinics weekly
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
