The Coordinator, Registration Compliance is responsible for providing day-to-day professional and timely service to all members. The Coordinator, Registration Compliance will be required to display solid commitment to the Registration team; working with others to ensure accurate recording of mandatory member information and timely follow-up of non-compliance situations, recognizing the need to escalate matters when necessary. This position reports to the Manager of Registration Compliance.
CPA Alberta has offices in Edmonton and Calgary and provides hybrid Telecommuting opportunities (working from home a maximum of 3 days a week).

Please note this is a 12-month contract position.
What you bring- 2-3 years of experience in a corporate office environment.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline is an asset.
- Strong working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Methodical approach to work with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking skills.
- Review members' Continuing Professional Development (CPD) compliance and correspond with those identified as non-compliant, ensuring timely follow-up as required.
- Communicate with CPD non-compliant members in a professional and timely manner.
- Support the member suspension and cancellation processes, including mail merges, assembly of digital and physical letters, sending and saving such communications, creating waybills, and track completion of tasks accordingly.
- Initiate and coordinate the member reinstatement communications and ensure records are maintained in accordance with department policies.
- Review the CPD verification submissions for compliance with requirements.
- Provide updates and reports to the Officer, Registration Compliance and Manager, Registration Compliance regarding the status of the reviews.
- Other tasks and projects assigned.
