CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Generation & Energy Management Team in St. Catharines, ON, where you'll contribute to the planning, design, and optimization of energy infrastructure that supports manufacturing, advanced technology facilities, and industrial clients. This is your opportunity to work on high‑performance systems, strengthen your technical expertise, and help deliver reliable, efficient, and resilient energy solutions.

What You'll Do:
  • Participate in the development of preliminary design concepts and perform comparative cost analyses for energy, power, and thermal generation systems
  • Assist in creating computation methods, technical reports, and specifications under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Identify and correct technical discrepancies in analytical results, following established procedures
  • Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as firm and client standards
  • Join field assignments with senior staff to gain hands-on experience in energy, power, and thermal generation system projects
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  • Minimum of 2 years of related engineering experience required
  • Pursuing Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensure; P.Eng. preferred
  • Strong theoretical knowledge and willingness to learn within the engineering discipline
  • Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and strong knowledge of engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Salary Range:

$ $36.53 CAD

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
