This event is designed for security professionals interested in working at high-risk and dynamic environments, including homeless and emergency shelters, shopping malls, hospitals, and other sensitive sites.

Security Guard – Commercial & High-Risk Sites

Assignments may include:

• High-risk homeless and emergency shelters

• Shopping malls (tactical roles)

• Other commercial and high-traffic environments

• Various shifts available (days, evenings, nights, weekends)

• Full-time permanent opportunities

• Ability to work outdoors and in all weather conditions is required

To be considered, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of security guard experience

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License

• First Aid CPR Certificate

• Previous experience in shelters, malls, hospitals, or high-risk sites is a strong asset

• Reliable transportation to travel to assigned sites

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Computer literacy (incident reporting, access control systems, emails)

• Ability to remain professional, calm, and alert in high-pressure situations

• Physically capable of standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods

• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and clients

• Monitor access points, conduct patrols, and enforce site policies

• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and conflicts professionally

• Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports

• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a strong security presence

• Work collaboratively with site management, emergency services, and internal teams
