Clinical Instructor

Clinical education is at the heart of nursing — and so are the dedicated professionals who bring it to life. Oulton College is currently seeking Registered Nurses & Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Nursing Faculty as Clinical Instructors. As a Clinical Instructor, you'll play a vital role in shaping future nurses, ensuring they graduate with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in diverse healthcare settings.

What You'll Do:

• Supervise and mentor nursing students during clinical placements in Sackville & Moncton area within the following specialties.
  
• Med–Surg
  
• Obstetrics
  
• Labor & Delivery
  
• Orthopedics
  
• Cardiology
  
• Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and foster skill development in real-world environments
  
• Support the integration of classroom learning with clinical practice
  
• Promote professional attitudes and practices that reflect excellence in patient care
  

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  
• Current registration with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick (NANB)
  
• Minimum of two years of recent and relevant experience as a registered nurse.
  
• Diploma as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  
• Good standing with the ANBLPN (Association of New Brunswick Licensed Practical Nurses) and/or NANB (Nurses Association of New Brunswick)
  
• Minimum of five years of recent and relevant experience as an LPN.
  
• Experience in high acuity setting.
  
• Previous experience teaching at an educational institute is an asset
  
• Ability to apply the theory, practices, and principles of adult education.
