The Senior Project Coordinator will apply strong knowledge and experience in project management to ensure the successful implementation of new programs or specific projects as assigned to the role. This includes developing project plans, monitoring achievement of key milestones, ensuring adherence to project scope and that projects become operational in the agreed timeframe. They will champion process improvements in the department and work collaboratively with other team members to contribute to the development of implementation tools.

Monday - Friday : 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

REPORTING AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports and is accountable to the Director of Service Implementation
Participates as a member of the Exempt Administrative Team
Liaises with staff and volunteers of community and government agencies as necessary
Liaises with the staff of Connective as necessary
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provides project management support to program teams in the implementation of new services as assigned.
Leads the implementation of strategic projects, as assigned.
Takes the lead on assigned projects, while setting a strong example for and supporting team members who are leading other projects.
Develops project plans and schedules for new programs or projects
Monitors adherence to project schedule, budget and scope
Works closely with Program Directors and Senior Managers to support the development of budgets, timelines and agreements with funders as required during implementation.
Works in collaboration with program and administrative staff to support the successful delivery of new programs and assigned projects
Assesses project success, and works across departments and programs to apply learnings.
Supports the development and improvement of common tools, processes, and systems for project implementation.
Analyses and reports on implementation risks in their assigned projects.
Develops plans to mitigate potential issues and resolves project issues as they come up.
Reports to the Director of Service Implementation and other bodies, as required, on the progress of projects.
Provides implementation related advice and input into proposals for new services, feasibility studies or business plans as required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Functions independently, while remaining a crucial member of the team.
Adheres to Connective policies and procedures.
Is available to work flexible hours as needed. May include some evenings/weekends, as determined by project needs and schedules.
Will require travel to communities served by the organisation to support implementation and Interested and Affected Parties relations.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
A relevant bachelor's degree or a combination of applicable education, training and/or experience
Project Management Professional certification or equivalent combination of applicable training and experience
Five to seven years of demonstrated project management experience in the public or non-profit sector
Ability to motivate and organize a staff team
Strong communication skills (listening, verbal and written)
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, conflict management and resolution strategies, as well as a positive work approach
Excellent time and project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
Ability to present information in an insightful and structured manner (written and verbal)
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to successfully complete a Vulnerable Persons Criminal Records Check
Ability to successfully pass a reference check
Valid driver's license
COMPENSATION
The annual salary range for this position is $69,200 to $86,520, will be based on experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for the organization's comprehensive benefits package. The salary range provided represents the total compensation plan for this position. Actual salary placement will be determined based on a variety of factors, including pay equity, market conditions, candidate experience, internal equity, and organizational priorities. Placement within the range is typically at the midpoint.
