*Position Overview*
We are seeking a CT Technologist to join our outpatient imaging center, where we deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in a patient-focused and professional environment. This role is ideal for technologists who value predictable schedules, efficient workflows, and collaborative teamwork without the demands of emergency or inpatient imaging.
The CT Technologist will perform computed tomography procedures in accordance with established protocols, safety standards, and physician orders, while providing exceptional patient care and maintaining regulatory compliance.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Perform CT examinations, including routine and contrast-enhanced studies, according to established protocols
* Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining exams and ensuring patient comfort and safety
* Administer contrast media in compliance with facility protocols and safety standards
* Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently to produce high-quality diagnostic images
* Accurately document patient information, exam details, and technical factors in the RIS/PACS system
* Adhere to *radiation safety*, infection control, HIPAA, and facility policies
* Identify and respond appropriately to patient needs or adverse reactions
* Maintain equipment cleanliness and report equipment issues promptly
* Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow
*Required Qualifications*
* Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
* *ARRT (R)* certification required
* *ARRT (CT)* certification required
* Current BLS certification
* Knowledge of CT anatomy, protocols, and radiation safety principles
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Previous experience in an outpatient imaging center or non-hospital setting
* Experience with contrast administration and IV placement
* Familiarity with RIS/PACS systems
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
