The Summer Internship Programme offers the chance to gain unparalleled insight into the inner workings of an international bank. Successful interns may be able to return as full-time team members of our team upon completion of their studies, subject to performance and business need. The Cyber Security Internship
The Cyber Security team is responsible for safeguarding the organisation’s IT infrastructure and digital systems from cyber threats that aim to compromise or steal sensitive data. Its activities include assisting with security assessments, monitoring security systems, researching emerging threats, supporting updates to security SOPs and procedures, and responding to minor security incidents. The team also delivers user education and awareness initiatives and is undertaking a project to reconcile all assets across security platforms and automate this process. Primary Responsibilities
Support security assessments and ongoing monitoring of security systems Assist with minor security incident response and threat research Contribute to updating security SOPs and procedures Support user security awareness and education initiatives Assist with asset reconciliation across security platforms and support automation efforts You must act as a Company Ambassador, to deliver good outcomes to retail customers What we look for
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Security or Computer Science Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills A strong team player who is proactive, responsive, and who can thrive in a collaborative environment Threat Intelligence, Security Networking, Penetration Testing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Application requirements
This programme is for undergraduate students who are in their penultimate year, with an expected graduation in Summer 2027. You must be available for the full duration of the programme: Monday 22nd June until Friday 28th August 2026.
